The High Zn & Mn Formulae 1 and 2 contain increased levels of zinc and manganese, whilst providing a balanced combination of additional nutrients.
Zinc has a multitude of roles within the body, particularly as an activator of enzymes. This makes it a vital nutrient in the healthy functioning of the reproductive system, digestion and blood sugar control, wound healing and immune system function. Because of zinc's many roles within the body, zinc deficiency can cause a vast array of health problems, both physical and emotional.
Manganese is involved in many of the same reactions as zinc and is therefore balanced accordingly in this formula. It is also an enzyme activator involved in blood sugar control and energy metabolism.
High Zinc and Manganese Formula Two does not contain calcium.
