The Rationale Behind The Archturus Range

In order to get the best results from supplements an ideal diet will be:
  • Free from salt, sugar, dairy products, yeast, processed foods, chemical additives, stimulants and alcoholic beverages.
  • High in leaf, root and stem vegetables and in 'neutral grains' (ie. without gluten), such as millet and brown rice.
  • High in antioxidant vegetables eg: onions, garlic, cabbage, broccoli, watercress, Brussels sprouts.
  • Low in saturated fats, high in essential fatty acids, especially of the Omega-3 variety which are abundant in fish, edible linseed oil and fish oil.
  • Low in animal-derived foods. These foods are main sources of protein so they should be replaced to some extent with pulses which also contain good levels of dietary protein.
  • Organically grown rather than conventionally grown to avoid the intake of pesticides, herbicides, hormones and antibiotics.
